Honey and vinegar. Opposites certainly do attract (us) in our first ever sweet and tangy mead vinegar.

The honey notes are unmistakable in this barrel-aged, limited-edition vinegar which presents with a warm, hazy honeycomb glow from the unfiltered and raw honey.

Made with Semi Sweet Honeymaker mead (i.e. honey wine) from Maine Mead Works and raw honey purpose-harvested for us by The Best Bees Company in Massachusetts this vinegar has us all abuzz!

Special flavor

Made a vinaigrette with honey vinegar and a fruity olive oil for a baby greens salad with mandarin oranges, red onion and fresh blue cheese. It was stellar! Would work with fresh pear too.

Delicious!

Very nice, complex flavor, hints of mead coming through, not just acid. So far have used it only for adding a little more interesting flavor to a dull green juice, will try it in vinaigrette and switchel next.

I have not had the chance to use it yet, but it tastes wonderful by itself!! :)
