Worth Waiting For

Modern vinegars have lost their way, so we stepped back in time to recreate a process from 1823.  Our equipment doesn’t exist anymore so we remade it in partnership with local universities.

After slow fermentation our vinegars are barrel aged before being hand bottled raw and unfiltered. It all takes a lot more time and care but we think the results are spectacular. I hope you will too.

 Our vinegar works is housed in the blacksmith shop for an old textile mill complex in the heart of New England that is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Incredible vinegars!

The vinegars are incredible! Like nothing I have ever tasted! I especially like the malt and apple cider vinegar! I will be ordering more larger sizes!

Love these vinegars!

I have tried 8 different flavors of AVW products. I only recently became aware that vinegar can add depth of flavor to many recipes. I have enjoyed all the flavors I have tried so far. My only problem now is finding enough recipes to showcase them all. I made a Chicken Vindaloo last night and used the Beer Malt Vinegar in that. It was fantastic! I can't wait to do more. I appreciate the effort AVW puts into crafting their products.
